Information on the processing of personal data
Proper processing of personal data in accordance with the applicable legislation is very important to BORA sort, s.r.o., and the protection of personal data is a priority. In this context, we would like to inform you about the processing of personal data at BORA sort, s.r.o., in connection with the new legal framework, Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (the „GDPR Regulation“) and Act No 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and on amendments to certain acts (the „Personal Data Protection Act“).
Given the extent of the GDPR Regulation and the Personal Data Protection Act, we have prepared the information on the processing of personal data in the form of the following questions and answers for greater clarity:
1. Who is the controller of your personal data?
The controller of the personal data is BORA sort, s.r.o., with its registered office at: Bystrická 1/A, 841 07 Bratislava, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Bratislava I, section: Sro, insert No 27967/B (hereinafter also the “controller”).
2. Why do we process your personal data and for what purpose?
We process your personal data within the business activities of the controller, for the purpose of providing services to the controller’s clients. Your personal data serve exclusively the needs of the controller and will not be provided to any recipient without your written consent.
3. What is the legitimate interest for processing personal data?
The legitimate interest of the controller is its business activity and the provision of goods and services to customers.
4. Which entities have access to your personal data?
In order to ensure the proper operation of the controller, third parties also have access to your personal data. This concerns, for example, the provider of accounting services. In order to protect your personal data, we have concluded a proper personal data processing agreement with this entity.
5. For how long do we store your personal data?
We keep your personal data for the duration of your relationship with the controller. After the termination of your relationship and of all obligations arising from the relationship with the controller, we keep your personal data for the period required by the applicable legislation.
6. What are your rights in connection with the processing of personal data?
You have the right to contact the controller at any time and to request information and access to the processing of personal data. You also have the right to erasure, the right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data, the right to restriction of processing, the right to object to profiling and automated decision-making, and the right to data portability. You may exercise your rights at the e-mail address bora@borasort.sk, or in writing at the address of the controller’s registered office. You may also address any complaint to the Office for Personal Data Protection.
7. Do we use profiling and automated decision-making when processing your personal data?
Within the processing of personal data we do not use automated information systems or profiling.
